Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a game I post about a lot on this blog, and it is all your fault. You, Internet. Stop spitting out ridiculous facts, videos, articles, and pictures about Modern Warfare 2, so i can stop writing my barely coherent blogging things about the game.
I’d make some kind of declaration here like “this is it!” or “this is the last Modern Warfare 2 post!,” but that would seem transparent even with the highly convincing exclamation mark. Instead, I present you with a video that is equal parts hilarious and sad. The only thing that could equal the emotional contradiction of this video is a video where Bill Nye The Science Guy blows himself up playing with marshmallows and lucite or something. God, I hope that never happens. OR DO I?!?
At first, I thought the video was supposed to be one of those hilarious comedy videos that often appear on the Internet. This kid, with his funny British-like accent, has milk on his top lip. Milk! Who plays Modern Warfare 2 for seventeen hours straight fueled by milk? Maybe it’s some kind of special milk. It does come across pretty thick and white in that video. Is it owl milk? White tiger milk?
The reality of the video really hits home when the camera has to refocus because the kid falls down while punching a wall. The camera was all “Woah! Even I didn’t expect that shit, and I remember recording you headbutting that bookcase over Little Big Planet.”
After watching it, I’m left with several unanswered questions:
What’s his wall made out of?
Where are his parents?
Is that how people punch in countries where the national policy isn’t to constantly invade other countries? If so, God bless America.
What the fuck is the red thing that the camera films right before the end of the video? Is that the severed and preserved hand of one of his parents? Is it some chili peppers to go with the milk? Both options are pretty disgusting.
What is it that this kid doesn’t like about Modern Warfare 2?
