Are you tried of planting crops and not being able to kill cartoon cows for meat? Are you still angry that Mob Wars has nothing to do with actively warring or mobbing? According to The Escapist, a version of Civilization will land on Facebook next year. There’s no possible way Civilization can be totally watered down, right? Right?
I’ve found most Facebook games frustratingly basic. If I’m going to play a game for free on Facebook, I expect it to offer some sort of complexity. I didn’t not buy it for nothing. Civilization is a pretty complicated game, so it could bring some real strategy to Facebook. It’s also a pretty addictive game. so hopefully people get hooked on it and have less time to fill out quizzes.
The official announcement for Facebook Civilization or “Face Civilization” as I’m affectionately calling it, mentions a closed-beta in the near future. Everyone interested should become a fan of the Civilization Network on Facebook and wait for future annoucements.
