Shigeru Miyamoto got a Cat. Everyone Stay Calm

This is news because Nintendo has stated that they like to keep Miyamoto’s hobbies secret because often times those hobbies lead to popular video games. Nintendogs came from Miyamoto getting a dog, the idea for Pikimin came from Miyamoto’s love for gardening, and Mario arose from the playful sexual tension that exists between Miyamoto and the princesses of several nations.

By letting this cat story slip, Nintendo has basically confirmed that one of the games Miyamoto is working on will include some feline elements.

Let’s see what Miyamoto is working on. According to Kotaku, “Currently, Miyamoto is working on the new Zelda Wii title, which will sport swordplay with the MotionPlus feature.” There we go; that’s our cat title. The only question left is how Miyamoto will get a cat into the next Zelda. Does Link turn into a cat? Do you eat cats to replenish hearts? Does Ganon kidnap Zelda’s pussy and you have to come to the rescue? My more dirty-minded readers will say that that last scenario happens in every Zelda game.

I would like to see Link have a little cat sidekick in the next Zelda. I’m all about animal companions in video games. I like animal companions in real life too. But video game pets don’t poop or require expensive shots. I’m still trying to teach my real life pets those two tricks.

Anyway, look for Zelda Wii: Link’s Puuuuurrrrrrrfect Pussy Cat sometime in the near future.
