The release date for the Left 4 Dead 2 demo is November 3rd for PC and Xbox Gold members. Xbox Silver members have to wait until November 10th to play. That’s what those fucking Silver members get for not giving Microsoft every possible penny. Too bad the console can’t piss in their faces while it downloads the demo. BREAKING: Silver members, look out for a yellow ring on November 10th.
I don’t have a problem with companies rewarding players for pre-ordering games. The Left 4 Dead 2 demo unlocking for pre-order customers on October 27th seems more than fair. But Microsoft couldn’t resist smacking those Silver subscribers in the face by making them wait an extra week after EVERYONE ELSE EVER is already playing.
Microsoft should go one step further and make all these Silver subscribers do something humiliating and painful to upgrade to Gold subscriptions. I suggest a diagram illustrating how to shove the 360 controller up your ass until something tears and enough blood seeps into the plastic to activate the Gold upgrade.
If only those Silver subscribers had spent hundreds of dollars on games and hardware like the Gold subscribers. Microsoft’s not running a fucking charity.
