Look. I don’t judge people. However, this doesn’t mean I wouldn’t be able to perform my duties as a highly paid judge on any number of competitive television programs (call me). When I heard that a Japanese man was planning on marrying his virtual girlfriend from the Nintendo DS game Love Plus, I didn’t automatically label him a freak. I mean, just because some guy claims he’s going to marry his video game girlfriend, doesn’t mean that he’s actually going to go through with it. I claim that I’m going to start eating vitamins every other day, and that has yet to happen.
Then the guy actually married his virtual girlfriend from the Nintendo DS game Love Plus. There was nothing left to do but hope that someone posted pictures of the ceremony.
SAL9000, the groom who probably wants to keep his real name out of the news, sent Lisa Katayama at Boing Boing some pictures of the happy couple.
That little girl is trying to see if he's a real person. Robots have visible circuits hidden in thier ear canals.
Is that a Gameboy Advance game in the bottom slot? I consider that cheating in this situation. WHO’S THE OTHER WOMAN, SAL9000? What do you tell your Love Plus girlfriend, Nene Anegasaki, when you switch her off at night? Does she know you’re getting your needs met by tech from a previous generation?
The Gameboy Advance game must give him something that Nene can’t. I hope it isn’t Astro Boy.

Is he wearing Crocs? Boy, this guys makes all kinds of bad decisions. Actually, I have a pair of Crocs. I wonder if the missing component to my life exists in a Nintendo DS game.
I hope he didn’t bury her in the sand. It’s going to be a bitch blowing all those grains out of her bottom. But I’m sure they’ll find some way to make it fun.
