These Starcraft 2 battle reports would almost be a slap in the face from Blizzard if they weren’t so entertaining. The latest battle report features a Protoss vs Terran battle on Lost Temple. While watching, I almost forgot that the Starcraft 2 beta was supposed to come out last summer. I could have spent the warm monthes building hydralisks instead of thinking about going to the beach and contemplating taking up cycling.
Battle report 4 includes some classic Terran strategies and a couple new abilities. Do you know what is important in Starcraft 2? The xel’naga watch tower. Every report spends time discussing their important observation abilities. I don’t have much room for strategic observation in games of Starcraft. I figure that I can observe the enemy base enough while my units burn it to the ground. Coincidentally, I don’t win many games of Starcraft.
Everytime one of these reports is released, I hope it means that Starcraft 2 is closer to the beta stage. But then I just find myself watching the next battle report a few months later.
